Project CLASP<\/strong> aims to develop an interactive map and directory of local historical and heritage societies throughout the Philippines. This digital resource will allow users to click on a particular locality to view associations and organizations engaged in historical and heritage work. CVSC will be among the featured centers on this platform, showcasing its ongoing contributions to heritage documentation, cultural mapping, and community-based research.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Central Visayas Studies Center (CVSC) of the University of the Philippines Cebu has forged a meaningful collaboration with the <\/span>Center for Science and Society<\/a><\/strong> (CSS) of Columbia University<\/strong> for a project titled <\/span>Restoring\/Restorying: Sugbo Seed Archive<\/span><\/i>. This initiative bridges research, art, and community knowledge to combat food insecurity and climate change by revitalizing traditional food systems in Cebu, Philippines.<\/span><\/p>\n

The thrust of the Urban Studies Program<\/strong> is to bring to the fore the critical issues around urbanization and urban humanity in the policy discourses for the country.
